Wing Commander IV: The Price of Freedom (WC4) takes place after the end of a war between the Kilrathi and Terrans. Another war is on the verge of beginning, this time between the Confederation and the Border Worlds. You play the part of Colonel Blair, who is in the Confederation. WC4 puts you in control of a variety of spaceships armed with your choice of weapons. You can fly in arcade flight mode or customize the controls for simulation mode. Other settings allow you to turn on subtitles, choose from three difficulty levels and make your ship invulnerable.<br><br>Battle scenes are broken up with many cinematic sequences, as the game moves along similar to a movie. Cinematic scenes were acted by some recognizable actors, such as Mark Hamill (of Star Wars fame) and Malcom McDowell, who you may know from Star Trek: Generations. WC4 requires one memory block for a saved game.

    ps1 wing commander 4

    This is a great version of the hit pc game, a little bit lack luster on the graphics side but this is a early ps1 title, still a great way to play this classic, The controls take some getting used to as they require multi button press to activate the same functions you would on a pc keyboard. and no analog support your playing old school here. I loved this story arc and the acting is top notch Hollywood. A great add for any ps1 collector or any one wanting to play this again without the hassle of building a DOS pc.
