    As described and works great for playing 8mm hi8 and digital 8 tapes

    Exactly as described, packed well for safe shipping, and the camera works great. I haven’t tried to record yet but for playback, it’s perfect. I got this to watch and eventually transfer/digitize our old home videos from the 90s. So excited to bring these back to life.

    Christmas Disappointment

    I can view my tapes on the camcorder LCD screen however I can not display picture on TV or computer using the AV cable. This is a great disappointment as I wanted to transfer my old 8mm tapes to DVD for my family.

    The Sony DCR-TRV310 arrived exactly as described, in a prompt manner. Worked perfectly to import old Sony 8, Hi 8 and one Digital 8 tapes into iMovie for Mac via it's firewire interface. Perfect for digitzing old camcorder footage. Worked perfect.
