    Between Two Kingdoms

    Released in 2021 & NYT bestseller! This is a personal account of the author’s health struggles w Leukemia & the various people, her boyfriend/caregiver & fellow cadre of patients & well wishers she’s met on her journey. She beautifully expresses very hard topics, relationships w her friends & Fam, the pain she went through, & her isolation while receiving treatment. It’s thru her words can we imagine managing life on the edge of death. From a newly diagnosed Leukemia patient, I truly appreciated finding this book.

    A tough prognosis

    Many people face a life-threatening diagnosis, as this author did. However, few are able to put their thoughts on paper as well as she has. I found myself practically living the experience along with her. Read this book; it will challenge you and in the process, perhaps make you a better person. Read it.

    Your life will be enriched by reading "Between Two Kingdoms" by Suleika Jaouad.

    This lovely book was so well written, I couldn't wait to get back to it between reads and finished it quickly. It is a story I will want to revisit and will tell my friends about. Suleika's story is sad (I found myself crying through much of it), but just as there were powerful life-lessons she gleaned from her illness, I feel that I learned from it, too. No matter what your life story is, there will be take-aways for you from this book. Suleika wrote with such compassion about the people she met and befriended through her illness, this book covers their stories, too.
