However Royal Mail's handling of 48 hour guaranteed delivery was appalling - they informed me they'd deliver 14th, I waited in all day with front door ajar, then at 4.30 received a text stating "Delivery failed, access denied"!! Took 2 phone calls (wait 25 mins for each) to be told that actually means delivery was not attempted!
