Great movie, mediocre medium.
The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is my eyes and brain has been so accustomed to full hd and 4k that when i watch a dvd it burns my soul! Well that was a bit dramatic, but i'm not overly impressed with the picture quality. I've seen plenty of dvd's with less grainy picture but for all i know that could be the filmmakers fault, if he(Jonas Åkerlund) used some special filter or thingamajig? It's fully watchable, i'm just not 100% happy with the picture quality is all. I hope this will get a 4k-restore and reissued. It is a classic "drug-movie", aka a movie where the plot is about a group of drug users. In this case the "wonderful" creation that is methamphetamines. It's a quirky movie and it has some really odd characters in it, but that is to be expected from this type of ... How on earth does a director make such a wild and funny film, but have little to nothing to say during the commentary? Overall, a great film.
