The first game in Capcom's blockbuster survival-horror series designed with a real-time 3D polygonal engine, Resident Evil 4 is freed from the camera limitations and static backgrounds of past titles. Players guide Leon S. Kennedy, the lead protagonist in Resident Evil 2, in an adventure taking them deep within the Umbrella Corporation. The result is a battle for survival as players confront mutated biological experiments, zombies, and other creatures of suspicious origin. Leon comes equipped with a revolver but will still be able to find various other weapons along the way. Environments include rain-soaked alleyways, decrepit sewers, and castle-like structures. Hiroshi Shibata, who previously worked on Resident Evil 3, makes his directorial debut in this game, with Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Dino Crisis 2, Devil May Cry) serving as producer.

    ARCADE EVIL 4

    Usually the survivor-horror games are too dark with a lot of boring stealth to do and were only scary when you couldn't see what was coming at you. This has clear graphics that define the areas you have to slowly walk to ( press O to run ). Only 2 choices of control buttons using hold L1 or R1 + button is weird but works. Linear but you can pick a path lets you enjoy better ways to go and YOU AREN'T STUCK IN A BUILDING most of the game !

    My favorite single person shooter game of all time this is my 6th game disc and my 4th PS2 console never get enough of the extras on this game !! I know technology has moved on from this set up but I love it like pacman or mariio !!

    Glad to relive the original RE4 on a as n older generation console. Having everything unlocked and with extra money (without grinding) is so fun… for extra fun at least. I can always start a new game without the extras; which I love that you now have that option.
