    Exactly what I needed

    I am taking some courses that require paper based on the many books we're reading. My handwriting isn't very good these days and I don't touch-type, so I looked for something that would let me capture quotations and important points. The Scanmarker does just want I need it to do. It took hardly any time to download the software (just be sure to temporarily disable your antivirus program) and get started. I see there are a number of other features, like language conversion, that I have yet to try. But I am very pleased!

    Poor product but a great idea. Needs so much work. Try a product that scans the entire page and before it reads back.

    The Scanmarker air computes slow, it often times miss the mark when you try and highlight a sentence. It reads back and cut off and the scanned area is cut off. It is a poorly operating product. I could have read the entire paragraph by the time it computes and do a read back. And if I were to scan this message. And stop at the above word slow. The scanmarker would stop at sl therefore it would read it back that way and I have to read the sentence to see what I missed.

    Very easy to use, But there are some limitations

    Overall ; I am happy with this product - It will help make note taking much easier. It was also very easy to use. I noticed that the hand meved has to be steady and not too speedy and not too slow, the first or last words being left out of lines that I scanned There is a limit to how big of font it will scan (then it just starts to scans in a funny way). Some chapter titles were hard to scan, but you won't have problems with normal text

    Some scans are delayed to target area

    The scanner is great WHEN IT WORKS. There are times when a scan takes 30 to 45 seconds to appear in the target area. It also takes practice to scan "as the pen thinks you should". Too slow, too fast, not in straight line, choppy movement.................... I hope I can get the hang of it because it is a great tool for note-taking.
