    works great! well, when the kids remember to clean it...

    I'm sure my cats are thankful for the fact that this keeps the water much cleaner than our previous dispensers, as the boys aren't very diligent with their chores...but it is so easy to clean even a lazy teenager can't muck it up, and whisper quiet, so long as the water level isn't low.

    They like it!

    The cats...both of them...were very curious at first, and a little cautious, but got the idea pretty fast! It's a little bit lightweight, some rowdy catplay knocked the top out of alignment so that it guided and pumped all the water out.... onto the floor....so a little heavier metal might be nice, but it doesn't feel crappy at all....it's well made, the pump even hung in there running dry for a bit! They really like it....hung out by it a lot as they laid claim to it... I will probably get the waterfall design the company makes, also!

    My cat loves it.

    I have had 2 of the ceramic Drinkwell models that cost $89.00 each. They are hard to clean and I went through the filters about 2 a month. Way too much trouble. This pioneer is awesome. I put it in the dishwasher and it came out sparkling clean. I can get the filters very reasonable at Petco or online. I really like this for my cat....and he likes it too.

    Cats Love This Fountain!!

    We call it the Starship Enterprise! Nice chrome design is great for your kitchen area. My cats love the bubbling water that cascades down the side. I have had to fill the fountain nearly everyday, so I know my cats are using it more than the old plastic kind.

    Good Fountain, cheap pump.

    The quality of the stainless steel and filter is fine but the pump is cheapo. you must make sure to fill the fountain all the time so it doesn't pump air....otherwise the pump will die and I could not buy just the pump!
