    Great title and artwork on the CD insert cover.

    This is a nice CD set, It comes with two CD's the first CD has the original record Captain Fantastic, with the song Someone saved my life tonight, also has extra songs Philadelphia Freedom, Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds and other songs, The second CD has a live concert by Elton John from London in 1975 of the complete Captain Fantastic and the Brown dirt Cowboy record plus some other songs Saturday night alright., Great Classic from the 1970's..

    Simply an all around amazing album. This kind of music is timeless and any true fan of music has to at the very least come around and appreciate what has been done on this album. Give this album one listen and you won't regret it and you likely give it another go. Even if you know nothing about Elton John's music you should give this a shot.

    One of the first albums of elton john i ever listened to as a kid that my sister bought. as time passed and music changed i never forgot how this album sounded with a needle!! it was the first c.d. i ever bought around 1990 and to this day still have it. he has never replicated the country to rock album to this day! as he and bernie were in there ultimate prime as a team when this album was produced. Alot of people only remember this album for one song!!! the whole thing was great!! from beginning to end....still to this day it doesnt get the just deserve it was due!! Captain Fantastic is no doubt one of the finest albums he and bernie ever recorded!! and i will keep in my collection for the rest of my life!!

    One of the best

    I always thought that Good Bye Yellow Brick Road was his best, but once I really listened to his Captain Fantastic cd, I was totally blown away by his superior voice and the instrumental greatness of the band.
