Amazing stuff: Bought this adhesive to attempt to repair a damaged window seal (small split in two places and a very small hole). With some care and preparation (cleaning & roughening the edges), the product worked wonderfully. As it's a similar material to the seal, I've been able to carefully rub it back with 800 grit emery paper, for a smooth finish. Wonderful stuff. The only negative is I wish you could buy a smaller tube but for £20, it's far less than the cost of replacing the seal - which in this instance would mean stripping the door!!

I have noticed other ford focus with rubber trim issues on their rear doors as it is stuck down with a narrow strip of adhesive so it has a vunerability of wear and tear quickly. i was quite liberal in application of product to make sure it does not come away again in the near future, it probably did not need so much but it is a hidden thing so not to worry, Time will tell if it does the job but so far so good.

Great glue you don’t need much a fine layer on both sides allowed to dry then another thin layer on one side and stick together making sure it’s a perfect fit, although expensive it does the job not all other contact adhesives have the flexibility of this glue.

After trying various brands of adhesive to attach the door weatherstrips to my classic car without success I used this 3M product, which was made specifically for the job. It worked perfectly.
