As an inmate what else is there to do other than play "football" and hate the prison guards? Nothing much else, so when the time comes for the inmates to play against the guards its obvious theres going to be fun around the corner. As an ex-footballer, Sandler is the only inmate that has any idea of the true rules of the game... and none of the other inmates seem bothered about playing. But eventually the biggest, roughest and toughest inmates are persuaded to play and they become the biggest, roughest and toughest players. Problem is, they can't play... yet. Comedy follows as Sandler has to try and tame his new team-mates into a winning team, and after a long arduos journey it happens. Then the games begin as match day comes round. This film shows Sandler at his best, with comedy throughout. If you're a fan, then what are you waiting for!? If you've never seen any of his films, this would be a great one to see first.Read full review
