    Bone Nut for Fender Stratocaster

    I needed to replace the nut on my 1993 Japanese strat and this did the job well. A small amount of filing was required on the nut, but it was a good fit in the end. A good quality nut for a fair price.

    Poorly cut.

    Slot spacing was too wide for a strat at 35mm. Strings would have slipped off the fretboard very easily. Also very inconsistent string-to-string spacing: A-D = 6.5mm, D-G = 7.7mm. I won't use such a poorly made nut. I'll have to make my own instead.
