Does a great job
Just what you want to make sure that your Rancilio is at the correct pressure, after all, what's the use in buying an excellent coffee machine if its not making good quality coffee. I found my machine was just over 5 pounds pressure instead of the recommended 9 pounds. I now make pretty good coffee!!

Essential piece of kit.
It’s well known that the Rancilio Silvia is shipped with the pressure set on the high side for optimal brewing. This pressure gauge enables accurate setting of the operating pressure and further tweaking where necessary.

Great machine marred by two points which at this price point is unacceptable. Firstly, the metal housing around the drip tray base always corrodes.Galvanising or changing to stainless steel would alleviate this problem area in production. Secondly the ‘chrome’ tape on the head unit peels off after a short time which looks horrible; again using cheap tape at this price point not good enough. Finely tuned this machine though makes a great espresso equal to the Gaggia Classic.Great machine marred by two points which at this price point is unacceptable.
