This arrived recently and I put it to work immediately making jerky. The unit performs perfectly, although some rotation of the trays (from top to bottom) was required halfway through to even out the drying. This is simple enough to carry out. The unit is quiet with an audible alarm at the end of the cycle, controls are basic but for some reason the default time is always set to 12 hours at start up, I would have thought it more sensible to start at 1 hour. Easy to clean, just be careful with the plastic shelves as they have the feel of the type of plastic that is prome to cracking. I would recommend these are hand washed only. Price is great and so was the jerky.

I have not yet used it, the only thing I would add is that it would be good to have more guidance on recipes. I have purchased books now and to read the wide range of food that can be dehydrated is astonishing!

I’ve had one of these before and they’re really good marinate your beef slice tomato and salt them and you get great little snacks. Not the easiest thing to clean but if you have a dishwasher you can put the shelves in there and wipe clean the heater base. Overall it’s a really good bit of kit.

Just what I needed as I have tried other dehydrated machines before. So simple to use, quietly getting on with the task I had put before it. Silent in use-and nice to have the temperature settings. Strongly recommended-5 Stars all round.
