Gurren Lagann a BLAST from the PAST
Remember when Anime was crazy action oriented fun? When character development was good and not over acted? When characters were deep, had problems, but let none of that get in the way of the story? I sure do. The golden age of Anime is dead, replaced by animes that have almost no story, no action, and pointless cookie cutter characters. Gurren Lagann is a true example of how GOOD Anime used to be. With stunning Animation, fast paced action, well paced story with out there and realistic characters that bind it all together with great chemistry, as well as a huge amount of fan service. Gurren Lagann is a awesome slice of the old school stuff, with more hard hitting character development and story progression then any modern mech based Anime.
