I had a kind of red/black slime algae/cyanobacteria outbreak (not BB) in my freshwater tropical aquarium. Nothing seemed to kill it or stop it from growing, including phosphate remover, so I tried this product. It takes at least 10 days to work and even then the effects were not visually overwhelming. That said, it did weaken the algae and cause it to go pale and lift off the affected plants, so i could better remove it by hand. Lots of horned nerite snails are eating what remains.

The first delivery was broken even though it was really well packager. The replacement seems to have got lost by the royal mail who eventually delivered it a week and and half later. All the time I had great communication with the seller as non of this was there fault. The item its self is really good, an aquarelle aquarium at a great price
