    Action packed drama kept me on the edge of my recliner!!!

    Captain Phillips movie puts you on the pirate ransacked ship as the title named lead character and his crew matches wits and wiles against their African captors in a breathtaking trilogy with a surprise ending and twist. Must see film for moviegoers looking to add another great dvd for movie night!!!

    I like it a lot! Great film.... I think everyone should see it.....

    Good film.... action..... acting. Knowing that it's a true story really makes it great. I am a vet, deeply troubled by what is going on in terms of piracy..... our shipping industry is unfairly ill-equipped with armament aboard to prevent this from happening. Fire hoses ?!? How about a couple of cannons with trained marksmen who can blow them out of the water long before they can do something like this...... the requested response from the Navy was long overdue.... nearly too late. This stuff has to stop.

    Mr. Tom Hanks does it again

    I don't know why Tom Hanks didn't get an academy award for this movie it was that quality. Maybe they just consider all his movies high quality so they so they don't give him the praise he deserves. Thank you for this movie that l was very happy to add it to my collection. Yvonne
