      Martin Retro Monel 11-52

      Excellent Strings go very well on my 000-15m. Really easy to play, I play dropped a whole step tuning so had to do an 1/8th turn to loosen my truss rod slightly to increase relief due to slight buzz at fret 2 and 3. They are not too loud so don’t expect bronze, but they settle down and have a nice tone which gives my guitar a very natural sound, I find bar chords very easy with them right up the neck, I have A medium 7/64” action at 12 fret bass, relief is around 8/10 thou I have a hard attack in finger and plectrum style but no buzz on these at all I like them and really that’s what counts it’s a personal thing and if it makes you play more then 10/10 😀

      Delta blues sound.

      Got these strings for my teleresonator guitar. I have been using martin retro 10s. But the change to 11s is a great move. To get that authentic delta blues sound.

      Nice strings

      A slightly different sound that grows on you. Usual Martin quality and a distinctive sound that appears to live up to the hype. Try them. Only downside is they're a bit more expensive and silver in colour (which may be important if you like to colour match your strings to your guitar but otherwise irrelevant!).

      Perfect fit with Martin 15 series

      These strings have really brought the best out of my all mahogany martin 000-15sm. They manage somehow to be articulate and mellow at the same time. 'Sweet' sounding is probably the best description I could give. Great price as well. Love them!
