Vanelli at his Finest
Gino is Love! I'm a huge fan of this man's music. It compares to other poetry that I've enjoyed over the years. Gino has a signature sound and a soulful delivery. Usually, I put this in the cd changer and press repeat this cd. I swear that one day I listened to one song at least 25 times. Yup, that's how good it is. I decided to purchase this CD as soon as I saw the title and the outstanding price. I would play this CD while sipping on a favorite beverage out by the pool (if I had a pool.) Instead it makes for great backgrtound music while I'm painting or designing. It's non-intrusive, yet wonderful. On this cd Gino delivers the power like only Gino can; his ballads are the reason to purchase this one. Suffice it to say, it's like he's doing a concert just for you. Wow! I was delighted ... This terrific CD is a successful combination of Vannelli's new compositions and old hits, and demonstrates once again why he is such a superb musical talent. He takes emotional risks, writes great new material and reaps the rich rewards of deeply nuanced and textured arrangements. His older rock standards stand the test of time and are always very enjoyable. They fit nicely into this compilation, and with each rehearing, his musical ability and maturity for his young age when they were first released is even more apparent. Vannelli absolutely knows what he is doing, his production values are top quality. His musicians are superb and his vocals are amazing. As always, meticulous care and attention to detail, flawless musical instinct and taste, and high performance quality are hallmarks ... Very descriptive title. Not just a greatest hits CD.
I bought this as a birthday gift for a huge Gino fan because it had not been released yet in the US. We kept our fingers crossed that it would be good because we were a little disappointed with his last couple of projects. This CD is awesome! Not only does he have some refreshing new versions of our favorite hits but he has gone back to the style that made us fans in the beginning. The songs are amazing and the voice is better than ever. After hearing it for the first few times we agreed that this is some of his best work and it was long overdue. This Cd and Artist are timeless
I had this CD back in the 80s and I loved it then and wanted to get it again had all the great hits brought back so many good memories for me

Gino at his best
Being a big Gino fan I enjoy all his work but, particularly like the new songs on this CD. If you don't have any of his music there is a good mix of his greatest hits included as well. I would recommend this non US issue for all Vannelli fans.
