I used these Punches as my hands are all but useless trying to squeeze my rotary wheel punch ( no grip Arthritis ) to cobble together knife sheaths for the various types of knives I make as a Hobbyist Blade Smith they are good value and arrived two days before their ETA thanks . There will almost certainly be more quality sets out there but I am more than happy with mine.

On receiving the punches, I thought they looked spot on but, unfortunately, when I came to use some, a few days later, I was very disappointed. After making, with difficulty, only one hole in a leather belt, that punch was seriously compromised. The tip was not hardened enough to enable you to create a hole in leather. I managed to re -sharpen the tip so I could complete my job and this was the same for another sized punch as well. It is sadly one of very few occasions that I have to say that I would not recommend purchasin this set of hole punches.

I needed these to help make a couple of gaskets so I was only using the 10mm on gasket paper up to 1mm thick did the job well and now I have the complete set for other jobs in the future Best advice, knock through the item and into the end grain of a piece of wood. This minimises the chance of blunting the cutting edge

I was really pleased with the quality of this set of punches. They had been hardened and tempered correctly, and cut cleanly through leather and synthetic belt material. The only negative point is the sharpness of the ground edge on the waste exit slots. A quick hone with an oil stone soon sorted this though. The finish is a bit basic, but cannot fault the performance, Overall excellent value for money.

cheap and cheerful , this is not an expensive set so but for the money its great , i only needed to use them a couple of times so i went for a cheap set they done the job really well and i now have them tucked away if i ever need them for minor jobs in the future , i think they are quite good quality considering the price
