    Tight gripping chuck

    Much easier to use on my new Bosh drill than the supplied chuck which relies on the spindle lock. The spindle lock wears out quickly and renders the drill useless. I fitted one of these to my previous Bosch drill and it lasted 12 years after the spindle lock gave up working. I've bought a new drill and fitted one of these straight away as you can't remove the old chuck once the spindle lock gives way. My only gripe is that it sits clear of the drill body leaving a gap of 8-10mm.

    Slips often

    I bought this as it was Dewalt, but drills slip easily and have to be retightened, could not be bothered to send back. Not as good as the one it replaced on my old Makita, and that was not brilliant either. I suppose I need to spend more! Yes....I can use a cordless drill properly, bought my first nearly 30 years ago.

    DeWalt boxed.

    Bought to replace an existing damage chuck on a DeWalt cordless drill/driver. It came in a DeWalt box and fits perfectly. Not quite the same as the original and slightly less quality but it does as intended.

    Best DeWalt chuck for combi drill

    Much better than the metal DeWalt chuck that gets stuck after a few months of use.

    Bad choice

    Unfortunately it is not what I was expecting when you use it it need to be re tighten every hole it drills it’s worse than the one I replaced.
