An excellent machine, but watch out for the consumption of line with the self-feeding system.
Bought this item after much research, as always. The only negative feedback I traced was how hungry the self/feeding trimmer line was. They were not understating this! From new, the trimmer line ran out on its second use. 95% of the area required to be cut is completed using a Stihl brush cutter. The remaining area is not more than 6x6 metres in total. I can only suggest, that a much smaller length line came with the machine. If it continues to use the line with the replacement reel just purchased, then something is very wrong. Replacement reels are not cheap! I have now bought a 50m coil, which is going to be far more economic (B&D have instructions on how to fit this to a used reel). I would give the BESTS525 5* if the consumption of nylon line was normal.Bought this item after much research, as always. Trims the grass really well
Excellent grass trimmer which unfortunately let down by being supplied with a very short cable. My previous Black & Decker trimmer had at least twice the length of cable.

Best trimmer for the price and peace of mind
Already owned one of these, so knew what to expect. Very robust more so than F****, yet not as heavy as some. Can be used for quite heavy areas if given patience. Not the fastest spinner/cutter a need to perfect a sort of scything motion rewards thw effort!
