      Great Little Printer

      Printer has a small footprint so it easily fits in my home office. Print output is sharp and clear. Takes different sized paper, envelopes, etc with the bypass tray - fast & easy

      Hewlett Packard LaserJet 1022N Printer

      What I like: Good quality of output and a reliable paper feed mechanism that only jams if I try to feed paper that may have been stapled together. The toner cartridge lasts a long time and is reasonably priced, for a laser cartridge. I bought this to attach to my DSL modem/router and make it available to all the notebook computers we have in the house. It works great on that level. It's compact, light weight, and uncomplicated. Finally, it's at a good price point. What I don't like: Installation of the driver software, which needs to punch a hole in the Firewall when printing, was tricky and took several tries, and a couple of uninstalls to start from scratch, to succeed. Eventually, however, I succeeded and it has now worked without a hitch. Not for someone who gets easily ...

      No Waiting!

      I am a seventh-grade math teacher. Gone are the days of having to wait to make copies. I print everything at home. Thank you for a great product. I have the same product in my classroom; however, this product looks and performs better. Thank you for an awesome product.

      Good product and good value.

      The printer is a good product and the price was very reasonable. I downloaded the driver software from HP and installed it on the computer without a hitch. The very first page I printed was excellent!

      Works well, replacement cartridges are cheap on Ebay

      This is my second 1022N. The first one prints fast, is reliable, and has inexpensive replacement cartriges on ebay. In one heavy use I went through 10 reams of paper and use one full toner cartrige plus most of another. That will vary based on print density. There is no wireless connection, but wired connections seem much more reliable. Getting a second printer was for redundancy.
