    Black and decker strimmer

    Nice and simple piece of kit, we bought this really to get hold of another charger. If you buy a battery charger alone they are very expensive, as are spare batteries and when the charger fails to charge, you don't know if it's the charger at fault or the battery. So we bought a complete item for about the same price as a charger and battery. Good product for an amateur gardener

    A joy to use

    Whilst B&D are considered by some, less premium than say Makita or DeWalt, they certainly make a far superior cordless strimmer . Having used all 3 brands, the B&D strimmer exceeds the other 2 for lightness, manoeuvrability, low vibration & cost. All three offer a similar warranty & cutting capacity, with only the B&D having a plant guard, a fabulously useful feature allowing you to tackle grass right next to plants without risk. The only improvement of note I would like, is the option to upgrade the 2amp battery to say a 3 or even 5amp, so I can trim the garden in one go.

    Good Product easy to use

    It's very good for doing gardens and edges but not for clearing tough well overgrown areas. However if I had a lot tough areas to clear I would have bought a heavier duty product. This absolutely suits my near half acre garden and lawned areas.

    Excellent product.

    this is excellent for light work in small or medium sized gardens.. It is light, easy to handle and the strimmer spool is easy to change. It would be of less use for heavy duty work but that is not its purpose.

    Better than I hoped it would be

    Im very pleased with my new cordless grass strimmer. Its lightweight and very easy to use. It means I dont have to rely on my husband to strim the garden with his heavy petrol strimmer. Its also great for edging, saves me so much time compared to my edging shears
