    Good product.

    Have used it before. Have used on window frames in the past. This time it was for the re-furb of my wooden garage doors. If the rot is scraped out and the hardener applied, then that is a good base for filling. It can also be applied over areas of wood that has softened slightly due too weathering, prior to primer and paint. Very good back up where complete replacement of wood is impractical.

    Not as good as expected.

    Didn't really harden the wood. I later used epoxy resin which was much harder. I bought it as it sounded less messy, but the small tin was very expensive for what it did, which was in effect turning a smallish area of very soft rotten wood to a sort of loofah consistency, where what I wanted was something firm enough to knock.

    Great product

    It does what it says on the tin and has solved a problem we had with an outdoor oak been. It dries very quickly and sets hard. We drilled small holes in the wood to ensure the liquid was absorbed as recommended. Cleaning brushes was difficult as they set hard very quickly. Will move faster next time.

    Does the job

    I have used this before with success, only problem be careful opening the tin and/or wear gloves, when I pulled out the plastic seal the fuid splashed over my hand and it took three days to get rid of, obviously good stuff

    Excellent product and easy to use.

    I am treating the wooden rotten rubbing strake on a 40 yr old yacht. This stuff really works well hardening the soft wood in around 20 minutes before I apply filler. To the gent who could not get the cap off get down the gymn, and do you really want the unused portion to leak out all over everything? Yes it is stiff to remove the plastic cap but its ideal to hold the hardener while applying. I am going to try applying with a syringe (no needle) into predrilled holes to see if I can speed up the process. Excellent product (purchased from a local DIY chainstore as I wanted it quickly.)
