    Low coolant temperature issues resolvrf

    I was experiencing low coolant temperatures on my 2006 E60 530d. I was not reaching 75 degrees Celsius in order to trigger a regen. I replaced the main thermostat and still had issues. After changing the EGR thermostat, it cured the problem. This is the same as the genuine BMW part.

    This is the same as the genuine BMW product. Only difference is this item has the BMW logo and part number scored off. Save yourself paying extra at BMW and order this part instead.

    Problem solved

    The garage changed the main thermostat on my 530d (at great expense) and my cooling problems continued. This much cheaper, easy to self-fit (less than 10 minutes) part solved the problem completely. It arrived quickly and did the job. Highly recommended
