No more lost earrings!
This cover is the quality you would expect from the OXO range, it is very slimline and fits neatly over the standard larger size shower drain outlet. I have seen several earrings get washed away whilst showering but this cover did its job last night and my small hearing was saved. It collects all the hair and is incredibly see to clean off at the end of showers. Does the Trick, once Deployed
I bought one of these after my wife blocked the drain by flushing rice down it. After unblocking it and the outside drains too, I spent a long time choosing a sturdy metal strainer that would stay in place. This one works well, trapping all sorts of food debris. No more trouble with rice then, I thought. Wrong. It only works if you can persuade your dish washer to actually use it. She hates it, because it means she has to use her fingers to clean it. So now it's sitting by the kitchen sink, looking pretty. I considered offering to let her unblock the drains next time they are stuffed with rice, but thought better of it. Great product
This fitted well over the drain. It is much better quality than the one that came with the expensive shower. It traps everything and looks smart. It arrived punctually. I would thoroughly recommend it. There is a grey thin plastic rim which is not obvious in the picture but this helps it fit properly. Should this rust (my bathroom seems exceptionally damp), it will be easy to clean.

One happy mother
Yes, that’s right, one happy, hard to please mother. The hair trap that came with the original shower, years ago, has to be cleaned by unscrewing 2 screws, wished I could have got one of these years ago for her. We’ve tried a few different ones before but nothing that fits so perfectly & doesn’t only stop the hair from going down but the water to. Saw a few cheaper imitation ones but decided to go for the oxo one & glad I did as this fits perfectly & the other was a cm bigger so wouldn’t have been such a perfect fit.
