    Not the greatest design

    I bought this to use on my Associated T5m. It's meant to fit in the slot that the slipper pads fit into on your Associated spur gear. Anything smaller that 78t 48p I couldn't get the slipper eliminator to fit because the lip on the eliminator disk would not fit in the spur. I had trouble getting the hex to fit properly as well on the sides of the spur. Also, I don't believe there is any weight savings with this setup. If you aren't saving any rotating mass then why not just tighten your slipper down? This still uses the spring, bushing, and lock nut that your slipper uses. I also have an Exotech slipper eliminator. Much better design but you have to use kimbrough spur gears. This is a cool idea, but I fear it's just going to live in my parts box...
