Bought another. I got this one so I could attach three supporting arms on to the first one. Working on a wide piece and needed support working on the left hand edge. Also I can set the new one up upstairs and just carry the missing arm up. THIS IS THE BEST CROSS STITCH STAND I HAVE EVER USED.

Best ever stand
I wish I had found this Needlework floor stand a few years ago. It has made my Needleworking so much better. I can now do Needlework sitting in my arm chair as the stand goes under my armchair. I have arthritis in my hands and find it so much easier as I do not have to hold the Needlework frame as it sits on the stand leaving both hands free to do the stitching. Will not accommodate large stretcher frames.
This is a well made frame, but does not hold large stretcher bar frames. I use 18 - 22 inch stretcher bars and when I put them onto the frame the dowels and the top middle portion of the frame poke up into my needlework. I can recommend this frame for small sized stretcher bars and small sized scroll bars. If the frame had optional longer arms to hold large frames it would work for me. I tried to return this item, but the cost to ship back to the UK was more than what I paid for the frame.This is a well made frame, but does not hold large stretcher bar frames.
