I worked in the cosmetic department with MCX on a Marine Corps base The white plastic is glued to the metal case that the powder sits in,so when trying to get it out broke up into many small pieces. My case as well is metal and also was very very hard to get out because of the glue underneath. I do not think these were made to have refills. My pressed powder is bits and pieces now I will not purchase again 11:
