ripped off
advertised as used but in full working condition, untrue charging facility on radio will not work on 12v or 18v batteries i have, despite 2 of these being brand new. dissapointed to spend this much money on purely a large radio

I have a varied selection of Dewalt power tools that I use at work and so when a friend mentioned that you can get a radio with aux input that can not only charge your power tool batteries but can also run off them if no mains supply is present I thought to myself 'I gotta get me one' The radio its self has a strong outer roll cage that withstands some very hard impacts, perfect when you work from height and you have to carry tools up and down ladders, a domestic radio would fall apart in a instant when presented with the abuse that the DC011 can shake off. Sometimes it can be more bother than its worth to unwind a 50m extention lead just to plug in a radio so the idea that the DC011 can run from all varients of Dewalt battery and charge when a mains supply is available is superb. The aux ... I have been using my dewalt DC011 AM, FM Radio for 4 weeks now and I dont have one bad thing to say about it, I am plasterer and as you would imagine my radio can come to some plasterer splashes and lots of dust but I am happy to say it is very easy to wipe clean and dust off. The heavy duty design and good quality of the radio is ideal for the building trade you don't haft to be worryed about knocks and scrapes. One of my favourite things is the mp3 connecter/ AUX inn, I use my iphone to play my music and I use the CD case to hold my iphone to keep safe and clean.
