AUTHORBIO: Gail Garber began quilting in 1980 after her friends encouraged her to take a hand-quilting class. She had little idea that this small step would have a major impact on her life. Now she lectures and teaches workshops for quilt guilds and shops throughout the United States and abroad. She began publishing Southwestern design patterns in 1988, followed by a series of star designs and garments.
