Good idea, lacking detail design.
I haven’t installed this product yet, but I am concerned that there is no sealing at all of the lamp where the electrical leads pass in, so in a short time it will collect water on and around the printed circuit board. Not good. I am looking at ways to provide sealing before I fit to the vehicle. Also the connector to the vehicle harness will not be sealed either, which is different to the original vehicle part, where the lamp holder provides sealing fir both the connector and the bulb holder. It’s obviously a copy part, much cheaper than the original Volvo part, and also converted to LED, but the lack of thought to environmental protection is very amateur. Real value for money upgrade for my Jaguar xj,the original puddle lights give off a wishy washy yellow light,these are a bright white light and look great,easy to fit if a little fiddley,would definitely recommend.
