Love it. Very well made, has 3 sizes for different veg/fruit. I've been using a ricer for years but with a big family it takes long time to use. only recently remembered I had used a mill in France years ago so ordered this. It is brilliant, quicker, less messy and easier to clean than a ricer and also gives smoother mashed potatoes, however the instructions are a bit sparse for novices. Would definitely recommend however more instructions and possibly pictures.Love it. Very well made, has 3 sizes for different veg/fruit. No good for raw tomatoes
Bought it to sieve tomatoes from summer glut for pasatta, it just wouldn't not crush a single tomatoe no matter how small I chopped it, I have kilos of cherry and beef toms so thought this would suit but no, haven't tried it for cooked food soups etc but I use a stick blender for that which works well. Did not suit my needs.
The item was delivered very promptly. The food mill is of an acceptable quality. The reason for purchase was to remove the seeds/pips from raspberries and blackberries for my jam making. Unfortunately it does not do this, it only mushes the fruit which you can do far easier with a potato masher. In conclusion, if you are considering purchasing hoping it will remove seeds/pips then please do not waste your money. Small and light but doesn't work well
Compact and lightweight but also in use, tried it with tomatoes and couple of other vegetables, had to end up doing manually as it doesn't mash properly. Accessories come disaligned easily. Have had others over time so can compare, no good value for me.
