Good value and well packaged. The only issue is the coiled wires supplied to hold the edges together are awkward to fit after the first few turns but once in place they fall downwards very easily so are ineffective to secure the cage together. Additional fixings are needed.

Good for leaf mould
Purchased this to convert leaves into leaf mould, and so far it seems to work well, in that it holds the leaves in and allows the composting process to take place. It could benefit from a wire mesh to lay on top to stop the wind blowing leaves out when it's full and the leaves are dry, but it's simple to improvise. My only criticism is that the metal snake ties are quite a loose fit which makes the structure flimsy and the top ones gradually slide down, however I have overcome both problems by tying the sides together with copper wire stripped from electric cable. The result is a firm structure which can still be folded flat if needs be. Flimsy
It does what I bought it for - keeping my dogs from eating the compost in my plant pots! Flimsy ( one panel is bent ) and the spiral hinges are useless. I cut my fingers trying to put them on so ended up using cable ties (very small ones). I really can't see that it's substantial enough to use as a composer.

Worth having
This is the second bin bought the last one in 2020. I am already getting excellent leaf mould which is great for my garden. This year having doubled up I look forward to having the finished leaf mould next year, The best way of joining the sheets I find are with plastic clips not the metal screw type ones supplied.

A useful metal cage.
I purchased this during Lockdown. It might have been possible, in normal times, to buy similar from a DIY store. It was much easier to buy it On-line and have it delivered. I wanted the frame work so have not tried it as a compost bin. I also used cable ties to secure it.

Great apart from the springs!
The four panels are sturdy and should contain my leaves well. Putting the springs on is fiddly and i wonder if there is a better way to connect the panels. One spring fell off when i moved it into position but perhaps i hadn’t fitted it properly. I may resort to cable ties if another one comes off. Otherwise I’m pleased with the kit and it was decent value for money.
