Wound but agAin from seller in a heart beat! I give these cds to patients . I play mark Knopfler during study and if they do t know him when the rest starts they are anxious to know who he is. I give them s cd and tell them To enjoy. He makes the test so calming for them by his voice guitar and stories. I love a good deal to provide this gifting.

Did Dire Straits reunite?
I've always been a huge Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler fan. This one is really good and if someone were to let you listen to it prior to knowing who it was you might even accidentally think to yourself "when did Dire Straits get back together?". This CD showcases Mark's vocals more than some of his other works do and thankfully his guitar work is as still as crisp as ever. If there's one thing you can count on from Mark you can always take it that his guitar work will be impeccable and his lyrics will be interesting. On this CD he even gives a subtle history lesson on the song "Boom, Like That" he is telling the story of how the owner of the fast food giant McDonald's (Ray Kroc) got started. Mark Knopfler, previously of Dire Straits, is one if the greatest guitarists and lyricists of all time and this solo album is another great example of his genius. Get it and enjoy!!!
