    Andrea Bocelli David Foster 'My Christmas' is GREAT!

    This DVD is fabulous and it's Andrea Bocelli's voice that makes it so. Heis voice is unparalelled in the music industry. David Foster is a good composer, piano player but seems more like a commercial for himself when he introduces musicians/vocalists and Bocelli. However, this is a must have dvd.

    Andrea Bocelli: My Christmas DVD 2009

    I absolutely loved this DVD! David Foster introduces each song and also talks both with Andrea Bocelli and about him. Andrea Bocelli has the most gorgeous voice; quietly powerful and moving. The selection of songs was perfect, good variety. I especially liked the ones that included children singing with him. Andrea Bocelli's personality was reflected in both his face, and his voice. To know that hie is blind simply adds to the brilliance of this DVD. I could watch it every day! His voice, his accent and stunning good looks make me swoon. The extras were interesting and enjoyable. This DVD is a must see!

    If you like good music with GREAT singing, this is it!!

    I've been a Bocelli fan for many years and I've taken the time to study his work. He made an album a few years ago called Sacred Arias that was technically his first Christmas album but were Italian pieces. This new album entitled My Christmas finally gave us something we all know and love about christmas - the great songs. There are many different renditions of the songs that he sings on this DVD, but, as a fan, he just seems to understand everything about these songs - from Blue Christmas (Elvis) to Jingle Bells with the Muppets. This is one incredible piece of work produced by Davis Foster. This will always stay in my collections of the greatest works from A.Bocelli. Amazing!

    IF YOU GOT A NEW TV FOR CHRISTMAS...

    I bought the Andrea Bocelli/David Foster My Christmas DVD after seeing it on PBS several weeks before Christmas. I also bought myself a new TV - LCD - 1080 pixels, HD....and this was one of the first things I watched.. This was one of the most beautiful performances I have ever watched... I would love to see Andrea Bocelli in person - but I honestly think this is better than attending the concert. You are right THERE when you are watching this DVD.....You actually feel like a part of the audience. This is visually spectacular with the fireplace, Christmas trees and snowfalls, and the song selection and guest stars make this an almost priceless addition to your collection of Christmas DVDs... If you want to see Andrea Bocelli - this is a must-have...

    The best Christmas special by anyone in a long time.

    I mean it when I say this is the best Christmas special in a long time. Great singers have tried to make Christmas specials lately, but they have not worked well. Andrea Bocellis is great in this Christmas special, but he always is great. David Foster did a great job arranging this performance and finding great stars to complement Bocelli. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes Christmas music and/or Andrea Bocelli and also recommend the CD.
