I get through yards of 1.6 and I have ordered an adaptor so I can use a steel wound brush which I bought last year but couln't use as I didn't have the correct adaptor, but picked one up at the localish(35ml away) Autojumble, I also have a proper honda brush cutter but it's heavy, My sthil is a lightweight compared but thankyou very much, the bladed adaptor looks well made, and if only used on the invasive ferns and light brush will be great at keeping them at bay.
