sensible straight forward type opener .still the best
just a simple bog standard tin opener ,no frills they just work ,as this type has always done. I have bought the fancy ones that look super ,and they have either not cut properly or fall apart in no time. this old style is still the best and a sensible price.

You get what you pay for
I wanted a traditional can opener having tried other types, including electric. This is exactly what I was looking for, although not quite as sturdy as my old 1960's model which has now sadly passed away! However, it does the job and is good value for the price.

Worth it!
Have previously purchased all singing and dancing tin openers at much greater cost. All gave up the ghost after a few months. Only just received this item and used once but it was a fraction of the cost of others and opened the can excellently.

The Best Can Opener!
I've got one of those new fangled can openers but I don't find them easy to use. Sometimes their operation is quick and smooth and other times it just doesn't work for me. It got to a point where my dad couldn't open a can of baked beans with it one evening, and well, the prospect of having fish and chips without beans is just too much! Enter my new, old fashioned, butterfly can opener! They are so easy peasy to use, and never go wrong. This is excellent quality, and more sturdy than the ones I used to buy from the supermarket. Definitely the best can opener I've had so far. I've got one of those new fangled can openers but I don't find them easy to use.
