The wine color is shown as a dark red/burgandy color - the sheets we received are a dark purple color. These were also listed as 1000 TC Egyptian Cotton, but they failed to mention they are making these with "multi-ply threads", not single-ply. The result are sheets that are rough, scratchy, & not breathable. They are NOT soft or breathable sheets, which most people think they are buying when they see the description as "1000 TC Egyptian Cotton". The quality was a big disappointment.
