This a great game overall; one of my favorites.
To be more accurate, I would rate this game an 8.6 out of 10, which is pretty decent considering I'm usually a harsh critic. Earthbound is my favorite on SNES with a 9.0, FFVI is second with 8.8, Chrono Trigger is third with 8.7, and you get the point. Anyways, it's a fun game with a good variety of specializations among characters, and I believe that this game is very under-appreciated. The story-line is okay, and the translation isn't very good, but the game is still great overall. It's a difficult game, so if you get frustrated because you can't move on in the game, come up with a strategy. I mean, come on--games are not very fun if they're straightforward and simple. If you agree with what I have just said, then you might like this game. I don't suggest spending $20 or more for the ... Secret of the Stars SNES
Probably one of my favorite SNES games of all time, amusing characters and a fun storyline. The game is a bit short for my taste, but it's still a classic. If you enjoy this game I recommend checking out Earthbound for the SNES as well.

This is a very good classic game with quite a bit of extras in it. Anyone that loves a good Classic RPG should like this one.
