    Absolutely awful. The scythe could possibly cut through soft butter, but for the purpose of clearing long grass growth it was useless. It simply flattened the grass without cutting a single bladr?? I'm angry that many people will spend c£30 on this to no avail. Please avoid this really pointless purchase.

    The scythe represents good value, but the single bolt holding the blade needs to be supplemented with a second bolt (an easy mod) otherwise the blade keeps moving out of position. The ergonomics of the handle placement work well. Works well on really long grass but one needs to develop ones technique for use on shorter stuff.
