I realised that I may not be home when it was delivered so I contacted the vendor and asked if they could hold the shipment until the following week. I got a reply stating they they would work with the shipper to do what they could to expedite as the parcel had already been shipped and to not be concerned as they would take full responsibility and I would have no loss.
The parcel was delivered a day ahead of schedule, when I was in.
