I had read that no instructions were included, which is true. The product arrived well protected and I personally found it simple to put together. There are a couple of parts that are slightly awkward to do but I managed to assemble myself. Overall, the finish of the chair is great. For my height (less than 6ft) and build (average), I find it very comfortable. There is adjustment for height, lean and 2 cushions.
