4.00-19 65H Avon Safety Mileage MKII AM7 Classic Motorcycle Tyre
I wanted a chunkier tyre to replace my rear 3.50-19 Dunlop K70. This fits the rim well and there is enough width in the swing arm. But it's a tall tyre and it has touched the top of the mudguard a few times when going over some big bumps. You'll need to consider this if you're buying it as a slightly oversize fitting. As a result of the height of the sidewall, I need to be careful that the ground is flat and even when I park the bike on its centre stand. Both tyres are on the ground so if the surface is uneven there's a chance the bike will fall over. The rear K70 only just touched the ground but the height of the sidewall on this tyre is significant. Remember, though, I fitted this as an oversize tyre so if your bike is designed for a 4.00 rear tyre your experience may be different. ...
