The central handle is located in through a central cross hole, where it is then turned. However, disappointingly, this arrangement remains very loose, and is not secure when assembled, and could easily come undone during use.

    Poor production

    While it does the job I am very disappointed asIt is very flimsy and the handle isn’t secure, it comes out too easily as two of the prongs at the bottom are not long enough to secure it! I have had one for 20 years and it is still going strong! I gave this one as a present and when I visited was disappointed to see such a poor job on the handle.

    Highly recommended

    I used to put my potatoes in the microwave on the plate. It used to leave a hard piece at the bottom of the potato no matter how many times I turned it. This is fabulous as it doesn't do that.

    Useless

    Absolute trash,poor quality plastic,and even worse was the fit of the centre peg used for lifting,fits through hole in centre and quarter turn to lock,not this,its a rattling fit,not just rubbish but dangerous.
