These brushes are ok for rough work, but not for finishing, as they are NOT soft as mentioned. Best pay a bit more and get brushes that are soft. If you want them for finishing work.

  • Surprised by its good quality and value for money

In the past I have had some very poor results when using synthetic fibre paintbrushes. In view of this I have generally tried to purchase natural bristle, but on this occasion decided to try synthetic again especially as Harris is a well known and respected make. The paintbrushes were cheap and arrived quickly. My first impression was that they appeared of good quality and were soundly constructed. I then began to use them for both water based paints and also solvent based paints and found the results excellent. Indeed I was so impressed I sent for a second set! Good value for money and highly recommended

  • Harris Paintbrushes 10 out of 10,Highly recommended

Anyone who has ever applied emulsion paint knows the importance of Good paintbrushes,With little or no bristle loss,I have used many various qualities of paintbrushes priced anywhere from £1.00 to the higher priced paint brushes and I have found that "Harris" paint brushes are just perfect for emulsion painting,The fact that they have just the right amount of bristles with a low bristle loss level makes them ideal even for a D.I.Y. job,The bristles are just perfect for "cuting in" and fine lining when painting,I rate them 10 out of 10 for build quality and 10 out of 10 for use.

  • Good quality budget brushes

Was originally looking for cheap disposable brushes, but those tend to be poor quality, and the bristles fall out as soon as you start to use them, and get all over whatever you're trying to paint. Not good. These are a bit more expensive, but they are a whole different league in terms of quality - and you're still paying less than a pound a brush. These economy brushes from a well-known maker represent very good value for money, so why give yourself the hassle (and the environmental issues) of cheapo, fall-apart disposables? Very happy with this purchase - would recommend.
