Beautifully wrapped, as it deserved, this book arrived safely and swiftly. It was exactly as described and in wonderful condition for 1763. Some people might think it expensive for a quarter of the volumes required for a full set, but for the volume you need, it was excellent value and I was pleased to find it and in this condition. I thank the seller and wish their museum all the very best.

  • A must read for anyone studying Victorian painters.

Fascinating. Crammed with the results of much research yet an easy and enjoyable read. I got a good sense of her subjects.
