      A treasured story of tradition, customs overcome by friendships respect and heart!

      I grew up in Decatur, contiguous to Druid Hills, in the 1940s and 1950s, and found the wonderful depiction of the time and places so familiar with the understanding and dignity of each main character leaving one with much to consider. It takes time to piece together the bases of their relationship and how it developed over time. A warm, extremely well told story of humanity and mutual respect and appreciation!
