    Excellent Blu-ray disc, and a chilling message for our times

    I had missed this film when first released and having recently streamed it I just had to buy the disc. The BluRay is excellent. I only wish there were far more Special Features (such as a full commentary track). Regarding the content of the film, the fictional Near Future presented is a chilling view of how an increasingly totalitarian administration "could" function if allowed to take over a Democracy. More timely than ever with current political scare tactics and misinformation being promoted on at least one US TV News platform and throughout too much of Social Media. The frightening threats of "The Voice of London" (the State News spokesman) sounds all too familiar and his continued warnings of society lapsing into pure anarchy and lawlessness at the hands of minorities if the ...

    The movie is entertaining and applicable to the situation we are facing right now. The government is out of control and something needs to be done.
